Este Bartin, Tailored Suits
Heritage Chesterfield Consultation Lounge.
Creating a Private Gentleman's Lounge for Bespoke Tailoring
For this commercial project, Dainté Living had the privilege of furnishing the private consultation lounge at Este Bartin, a bespoke tailoring house located at Braddell Tech, Singapore.
Rather than designing a conventional waiting area, the objective was to create a sophisticated consultation space where clients could relax comfortably while discussing fabrics, fittings and bespoke tailoring requirements. The atmosphere needed to reflect the same level of craftsmanship, heritage and timeless elegance found in a custom-made suit.
Inspired by the character of traditional English gentlemen's clubs, the completed lounge combines classic Chesterfield furniture, rich distressed leather textures and warm ambient lighting to create an inviting environment that encourages conversation and personal service.
Living / Consultation Lounge
The consultation lounge is centred around a complete Chesterfield seating arrangement consisting of:
- Custom 3 Seater Chesterfield Sofa x2
- Custom Chesterfield Armchair x2
- Custom Trunk Coffee Table with Hidden Storage
Every seating piece was proportioned specifically for commercial use, allowing clients to enjoy lengthy consultations in complete comfort while maintaining the distinguished appearance expected from a luxury tailoring boutique.
The distressed leather finish introduces depth and character, giving each piece the timeless appeal of well-aged leather while complementing the industrial heritage interior of the showroom.
Custom Chesterfield Sofas
The Chesterfield sofa remains one of the world's most recognisable furniture designs, celebrated for its deep button tufting, rolled arms and balanced proportions.
For this project, the sofas were upholstered in premium distressed PU leather, selected to provide the rich appearance of vintage leather while offering excellent durability and ease of maintenance for a commercial environment.
Every sofa is generously padded with high-density foam, ensuring lasting comfort and support even with frequent daily use.
The result is furniture that feels equally appropriate in a luxury tailoring house, executive lounge or private whisky room.
Custom Trunk Coffee Table
Serving as the centrepiece of the lounge is a bespoke trunk-inspired coffee table handcrafted from solid wood.
Inspired by vintage travel trunks, the design incorporates:
- Solid Wood Construction
- PU Leather Wrapping
- Decorative Metal Corner Protector and Rivets
- Functional Hidden Storage
Beyond its visual appeal, the trunk provides concealed storage while reinforcing the heritage-inspired atmosphere of the consultation room.
Its handcrafted detailing pairs naturally with the Chesterfield collection, completing the overall gentleman's lounge aesthetic.
