There is something timeless about a home furnished with graceful silhouettes, intricate detailing and luxurious finishes. For Chloe’s landed home at Jalan Ma’mor, the brief came together around a love for French-inspired elegance, classic European details and glamorous finishes.
Rather than following a single historical furniture style, the home brings together different expressions of French design—from softly curved, traditional seating to ornate carved furniture and mirrored accents. The result is a warm and highly personalised interior where every bespoke piece contributes to the character of the home.

For Chloe’s home, this meant creating furniture that was decorative and luxurious while remaining cohesive throughout the different living spaces.
A Living Room Inspired by French-Elegance
The living room establishes the home's elegant and feminine character through a carefully coordinated collection of bespoke furniture.
The main seating arrangement features a Modern Victorian three-seater sofa and two armchairs, all upholstered in luxurious Italian velvet. Their gently curved silhouettes, sculpted frames and tufted upholstery bring a distinctly French traditional character to the room.
The sofa's sweeping back and carved frame create an elegant focal point, while the matching armchairs provide a sense of symmetry. Finished in champagne gold, the carved wooden frames introduce warmth and subtle glamour against the soft beige upholstery.
Completing the arrangement is a bespoke upholstered coffee table, designed with the same refined palette. Its soft form complements the curved seating while keeping the centre of the room comfortable and inviting.
Together, the pieces create a living room that feels classical without being overly formal, luxurious without being excessive.
An Ornate French-Inspired Sideboard
Elsewhere in the home, an intricately detailed sideboard adds a stronger decorative statement.
Finished in white and classic gold, the bespoke sideboard features elaborate ornamental detailing across its drawers and sides, including carved floral and foliate motifs, decorative mouldings and a prominent central medallion.
Its proportions and ornamentation draw inspiration from French Baroque and traditional European furniture, while the white-and-gold finish gives the piece a more contemporary luxury expression.
Rather than treating the sideboard simply as storage, it becomes a decorative feature in its own right—bringing craftsmanship, ornamentation and personality into the surrounding space.
A Soft French-Inspired Lounging Corner
In front of the client's large decorative mirror, we created a more intimate seating corner with two custom chairs and a pedestal table.
The armchairs are upholstered in crushed cashmere velvet, chosen for its soft texture and understated sheen. Their button-tufted backs and nailhead detailing echo the traditional character found throughout the home, while their light upholstery keeps the corner feeling bright and delicate.
A glossy white side table sits between the chairs, providing a simple contrast to the upholstered forms and creating a practical surface within this elegant little corner.
The result is a charming French-inspired sitting area—a space that feels decorative, personal and distinctly feminine.
Glamour in the Dining Area
The dining area takes the home's classic aesthetic in a more glamorous direction.
At the centre is the LYON Mirrored Luxe Dining Set, a bespoke dining table finished in champagne gold and accented extensively with mirrored detailing. Its tabletop features a tempered-glass inlay, allowing the reflective elements of the design to remain visible while adding a sophisticated sense of lightness.
The reflective surfaces work especially well with the surrounding lighting, creating subtle reflections that change throughout the day and give the dining area a sense of depth.
The accompanying dining chairs are upholstered in crushed cashmere velvet, with a distinctive decorative hoop detail incorporated into the back of each chair. Their soft upholstery balances the harder reflective surfaces of the dining table, creating a dining setting that feels both glamorous and comfortable.
ESTELLE Mirrored & Beaded Sideboard
To complement the dining set, we also created the ESTELLE Mirrored & Beaded Sideboard.
Finished in champagne gold, the sideboard combines mirrored panels with delicate beaded detailing around its framework. The reflective surfaces allow it to work naturally alongside the LYON dining table, while the beaded accents add another layer of detail.
Together, the dining table and sideboard establish a cohesive language of champagne gold, mirrors and elegant detailing, giving the dining area its distinctive French-inspired glamour.
Completing the Dining Room with Crystal Light
The dining setting was completed with the installation of a crystal chandelier.
With its warm gold-toned framework and cascading crystal drops, the chandelier introduces a soft, luminous quality above the dining table. As the light catches the crystals and reflects against the mirrored furniture, it enhances the glamorous character of the entire space.
It is a small but important detail—one that helps bring the furniture, finishes and lighting together as a complete dining environment.
A Bedroom of Elegant French Luxury
The bedroom takes a softer approach to the home's French-inspired aesthetic, combining classic silver, white and luxurious Italian velvet.
The bespoke bed frame features an elegantly sculpted silhouette with carved detailing and a graceful curved headboard. Finished in classic silver and white, the frame creates a refined centrepiece for the room.
The headboard is upholstered in Italian velvet and finished with diamanté tufting, giving it a subtle touch of glamour while maintaining the graceful character of the design.
Flanking the bed are two MIRAGE Mirrored Luxe Nightstands, finished in classic silver and accented fully with mirrored surfaces. Their reflective detailing complements the silver tones of the bed while adding light and visual depth to the room.
The combination of soft velvet, silver accents and reflective surfaces creates a bedroom that feels romantic, elegant and timeless.
